  • Fidelity consumer review

My initial experience with Fidelity was fine, however in time I noticed that I was unable to find my home on the mls. When I asked questions eventually they discovered that they had put it on an mls 7 hours away from my home. They promised to fix it, I thought they did. Later I found out that their access to the mls my home should be listed on had been revoked and I had not been notified. The president of the company responded to my emails, explained what happened and offered to refund my money prorated from when it was not on my mls anymore. That was over 2 months ago and after 7... • A Great Service For Computer Literate

I am a little confused to see any negative report on this comnpany. I recently sold my home and promised Tom Harmon that I would right about my experience. I'll be brief. I estimate that I saved over $20,000 on the sale of my $680,000 property using the Fidelity Flat Fee service. Around here in San Diego, the brokers still want 6% to sell a home. I did everythiong an agent could do and utilized the MLS through Fidelity's service. There system is near flawless and is VERY EASY TO USE. I could change any aspect of my listing at any time through a very Easy to use, but... More...

  • Are You Kidding Me?

I'm a broker with Re/Max. How on earth are all of the brokers who provide top quality service supposed to compete with Flat Fee "no service" MLS Brokers? Sure you can put it on the MLS and sure it might sell, and you might get sued!@#^$% When you list with a flat fee company, you should plan on handling everything yourself... that's no easy task. I am so sick of the industry allowing these guys to exist! As a very experienced California agent, I simply will not tolerate this any longer. I will be doing all I can to influence the MLS systems to NOT allow them to... More...

  • Great Service Extremely Helpful review

I just wanted to put my two cents in. I see a lot of opinions about Fidelity Flat Fee. Some good and some not so good. As an ex real estate broker of over 20 years, I can tell you that these guys really have put together something really fantastic! As an ex-agent I know that if you are serious about selling you need good EXPOSURE! The MLS, ESPECIALLY NOW-A-DAYS, is super strong and provides excellent exposure. Fidelity provides a very high quality on-line account which was a breeze to use. I signed up on line and managed my listing exclusively through my account. No need for faxes, or... More...

  • Fidelity contract review

I currently have multiple listing with Fidelity Flat Fee. For 4 weeks I have sent emails and replies through their web site to reduce the price of my homes for sale and make other changes to the listing in the MLS. No one has answered for 4 weeks. Friday (1/28/11) I get a global message from co-owner Tom Harmon telling me that their access to various MLS is suspended because of negative year end MLS audits. If you have a listing with FFF and have experienced problems, lost time, etc. please send me an email so we can include you in our Class Action lawsuit. Mr. Cooper, Esq. Email:... More...

I listed my home with Fedelity because they advertise that they will list your home on about 50 web sites. home is only listed on about 4 web sites. When I contacted fedelity about this...their excuse was that they only list on the mls and that those web sites are "not in my mls area" Well that is just a pile of garbage. Those sites DO list homes in my area. So I contacted some of those sites myself and come to find out... most of them the realtor has to submit the listing themselves because they do not pull from the MLS. So that would mean that in... This company does not give you what they say they will give you! They show on their web site that they will list your home on about 50 real estate sites but they actual only list on about 4 if you are lucky. I wrote them about this and their excuse was that they only list on the MLS and that those other sites are "not in my area" Well that is just a complete LIE! I contacted the sites myself and some of them said that they do not pull from the MLS...the Realtor has to personally enter the listing themselves. And because Fedelity is not about to take the time to... More...

  • Worst Experience Ever

I used fidelity flat fee to list my property on MLS. I bought the $249/year package. To start with, once you make your account with them, there is no way you can communicate to them beside emails which they may or may not reply. My login account website is the worst website I have ever seen. It crashes so many times. It shows error even on selecting pictures for your brochures. They promise the following: 1. Live Help desk: Well there is not live help desk. In fact on my log in, the customer care number they have mention is incorrect. Some how i got hold of the customer care number... More...

  • Poor service

The website functionality and ability to input MLS data directly is good, but I've used the service twice now and there were always translation errors when the data was transferred to the MLS and Mistakes happen, but what bothers me most is when the mistakes are brought to my service rep's attention they are really, really slow in making changes--sometimes only after I asked twice. It's evident the person inputting the data does not have a high attention to detail--and if ever there were a job where they should, this is it. More...

  • Flat Fee MLS Service

The best Flat Fee MLS company that I have found is You can load your own listing on the MLS, through their web site, and still sell your home by owner. We paid just $249 total fees and sold our home in less than 30 days! They advertised my home on the MLS and on over a hundred sites. After experiencing their service, there’s no way I would ever use anyone else. You can visit their site at We highly recommend them. More...

Bad news with this company. Do not waste your time. They do not answer emails or return phone calls. The help desk does not exist. Save your money!

To Bonzer who says they don't list with other sites:

We had INCREDIBLE luck with Fidelity Flat Fee on our last home in Santee and now are on our second sale and signing up right now. My wife and I flip houses and I found your comments while searching for a promo code to see if I could score any discounts and was surprised by what I read. Nowhere else have we found a place that is as cost effective to list our homes on the MLS and even it they did only list on the local MLS, it would STILL be a steal of a deal. Their website may be a bit confusing when you start off but once you have everything they ask for filled out, their control panel makes it a breeze to edit and adapt your listing. Last time around I had a couple of basic questions, I wrote an e-mail to them and was answered with COMPLETE and understandable answers plus a phone number telling me that if I had more questions to just call and they would be glad to help. To me, that is perfect service and, again, due to that, I am signing up to list our second property...and will do so for each additional property we sell.

Sorry you felt robbed...but I'll tell you, it's STILL a smoking deal even if they didn't give you what you think you deserved. That, or like we've experienced with those other sites, the other sites don't list the MLS ads immediately but instead hope you'll pay to get them on the next day. FYI, Zillow is like that...they hold MLS listings for awhile. A pretty easy assumption is they try to get you to pay with that approach. Do a lil research and you'll see that's true. Still, eventually it WILL get on there, so technically, Fidelity is following through because it WILL make it to Zillow when Zillow decides enough time has gone by and they need to put it up. I didn't use to be that way, but for the last year, it has. FYI, because Zillow is important to us, we DO pay for that as well, on top of Fidelity, even though by listing with Fidelity, we know it would eventually get there.

Basically, it sounds like you haven't had to deal with how those other sites work and don't understand that Zillow cannot afford to pay the $79 Zillow ASAP listing fee when Fidelity is charging you how much??? $60 a month or less (plus the one time sign up fee) depending on your plan??? Does that make sense to you? Their ads are not lieing, but due to how the other sites now work, it isn't exactly clear that you will have a delay in getting listed on the other sites...however, the MLS is right away, and for me, that's what matters. Hope that explains things a's a learning curve for sure.

I have been signed up with fedelity flat fee for over 6 months and they are an absolute joke!

They advertise that they will list your home on about 50 sites....but they actually only list on about 4.

I contacted them about this and their excuse was that they only list on the mls and that those sites are not in "my area"

Well that was a complete LIE!

I contacted some of the sites that they say they list on and the fact of the matter is that some of those sites do not pull from the MLS at all...the Realtor has to submit the listing personally. And because Fedelity is not about to actually take the time to personally list on those sites....they have NEVER listed on nor will they ever list on those sites!

Buyer beware.

I just signed up with them and was impressed with the ease of listing through their website and uploading pictures. However, customer service is sorely lacking. Right now I am trying to get them to fix my listing because it is not appearing on my local mls (although it does show in Hopefully they will fix this problem quickly. I have a coule more houses I was going to list with them but now I'm reconsidering.

Several Year ago I worked for this company (I am a content housewife now) - in their customer service department. I can tell you that they do have excellent customer service... even though I'm not with them any more, hee hee. The owners are very professional and have an awesome web site and back end programing. They are a good company, and they care.
